These are my new (wildlife biologist) friends Emily & Calvin. They live in Mississippi but we met in Northwest Arkansas for their engagement session down at Tanyard Creek. We explored those trails and creek bottoms for a bit and then headed over to Lake Norwood, for the view of course. Here’s a few of my favorite frames from their engagement session.

Bailey and Stephen got married on July 1, 2023 at the Sparrow Lane Wedding and Event Center in Willard, Missouri. It was a perfect day surrounded by their friends and family at the most beautiful venue in Southwest Missouri! Here’s a few of our favorites. Enjoy!

Danae and Shawn got married on March 13th at Christpoint Church in Galena, Kansas. Somehow, six days of straight rain stopped long enough for us to have this wedding and get beautiful outdoor wedding photos before the rain started again the next day! These two love birds got together for our first wedding this spring. They sent each other sweet love letters and read them before the wedding. They laughed and had fun with their closest friends as we took bridal party portraits. They said their vows and sealed it with a kiss! Then they made memories in the photo booth and danced the night away surrounded by their family and all of their friends. It was a pretty perfect day. I wish all the photoshoots could end in a sweet proposal like this one. I met Randi and Dylan in California a few short weeks ago while photographing Austin + Matt's wedding. Dylan pulled me aside during the wedding reception and asked about possibly photographing his proposal in the coming weeks. We talked a little bit about their relationship and how long they had been together. Dylan told me he's had the ring for a while but just hadn't found the right time to propose. So when we got back to Joplin, we got together to scout a location for a quick photoshoot with the plan being for him to propose at the end. I just love the look on Randi's face at the end. This photoshoot/proposal was so much fun:) Here's a few of our favorite frames from this 'shoot. Enjoy!
